The Impala need to keep an eye out for the leopards and the cheetahs.

The park has a good number of Burchell's Zebras.

We spotted a little klipspringer sitting on a rock.

Kudu

Kudus hanging around on a warm afternoon.

Black Backed Jackel

A blacked backed jackel was seaching for a meal.

Wilderbeast

There were lots of wilderbeast in the park.

The wilderbeast males were fighting over a female no doubt.

Hippos

Some hippos were lounging in the afternoon sun.

Crocodile

A bit far away but the crocodile can be seen lounging in the afternoon sun as the vultures wait for any spoils of the next kill.

Grand Prix 2011: A day at the Races

Mike, Marc and Mike's boss braved the weather on Sunday to watch the Grand Prix. Great fun and great hospitality at Mike and Patty's as always. Thank you.

Grand Prix 2011: Start

The race was declared wet and started behind the safety car this year as the track was wet. Not as dramatic a start as some years but it turned out to be a great race. In the first corner Hamilton bumps Webber sending him in the opposite direction.

Grand Prix 2011: Hamilton Out

Hamilton completed fewer laps than the safety car this year, breaking his suspension early in the race after bumping Button after the last corner.

Grand Prix 2011: Rain Delay

The sky opened up and the rain stopped the race for 2h. All we could do was sit and wait and enjoy a beer or two and watch the rain come down.
