Autumn Leaves

The leaves have started falling from the trees and are piling up in the backyard. Thursday was the first day this year that we have had to rake them up.

These are leaves from the trees in the backyard. Most are from the maple tree and it seem like each one is different, just like snowflakes.

Tuesday was a bit cool and windy so Vincent put on his winter jacket to enjoy playing in the leaves.

Collecting Leaves

Vincent likes to collect leaves. He passes them on to dad to hold while he goes in search of another one. These days there are lots for him to find.

Vincent's First Sticker Book

Vincent recieved his first sticker book as a gift from Auntie Karen. The title of the book is "The Barnyard" and opens memorably with "Have you ever wondered what it is like to live on a farm". Here he is having fun putting the animals in his book.

Raw Meat: Chicken Wings

I bet you didn't expect raw meat on the blog. Here we have 10 lbs of humongous chicken wings drying before heading to the fryer. Also highlighted are the sauces; hot, BBQ, and medium along with Uncle Bob preparing the fries. Sorry, no after pictures as the photographer doubled as a the wing fryer due to a disability of the starting cooker. In any event they were gobbled down immediately after exiting the friers.
