Victoria Day Fireworks

Vincent went to the Victoria Day fireworks at the beach and he enjoyed them very much. He yelled "yeah" along with the crowd and joined in the clapping at the end. What a difference a few months make as there was no crying or yelling unlike at the spectacular fireworks show put on in Vancouver to celebrate Stephanie's wedding.

Trouble Ahead

So we are back in Canada now but Vincent loved the pool so much in the Dominican Republic he took the car keys and headed out to Pickering. Once he arrived there, he drank all the wine and then partied in the pool all afternoon with Auntie Karen. Must be a bit of Quebec in him as he wears his bathing suit Montreal style, thus fitting right in with all his Uncles from the camping crew.

A Man with a Cape

Vincent playing with his blanket. Maybe he saw Superman on the television set.

Local Birds

Surprise; some birds from the DR on the blog. These were common around the house. Not sure what they are as I have never bought a Dominican bird guide. There were lots more but I never had the camera handy.

Tropical Garden

Some photographs of the gardens around the house.

Headed for the Pool

Anytime someone entered the pool Vincent was quick to follow. Lots of pictures of Vincent in
the pool, however Mom got her hair wet so they are all vetoed on the blog.

Lizards in the Garden

Lots of little lizards in the gardens around the house. Captured these in about 10 min.

Walking is Hard

Sliding doors can be hard to walk over when one is just learning to walk, so first a bit of exercise, then crawl over the hazard and then on his way.

Our Home for a Week

Some scenes from our rented cottage in Sosua. The rain stayed south this day and we only had one evening with some light scattered showers.
