Aunt Donna's Visit

Last week Aunt Donna was at the beach as she had a conference in Toronto. Vincent always loves the attention he gets when she is around. Here they are in the upstairs office.

The Boy Loves a Beach

While I was scanning through the Maui pictures I saw some of Vincent having so much fun on the beach that I had to put another Maui picture on our blog.

Watch Out Mommy

Luisa was just sitting and relaxing on the beach and then along came Vincent. Watch out Mommy, little boys throw sand.

Vincent Eats a Cookie

Vincent has been taking his time to start eating on his own. As a rule he will not put anything in his mouth himself. I bought a box of arrowroot cookies and gave him one and he immediately put it in his mouth on cue for these pictures.

Harvest Moon

We are back in the beach after our trip to Derek and Stephanie's wedding. We were just in time to see the super harvest moon which has not happened in 20 years. Here is the reflection over the lake.

Tuesday: San Francisco

Out flight arrived in San Francisco at 5:00 am so we had the morning and early afternoon to explore the city. Aunt Mary picked us up at the airport, at a reasonable hour, in her beamer. We went for breakfast at a Zazie's a French Bistro in Cole Valley, a few blocks south of Haight Ashbury. The next stop was the golden gate bridge. The morning was foggy but the fog burned off at around 10 am. Thank you to Aunt Mary for the wonderful time.

Vincent Meets Aunt Mary

Vincent met Aunt Mary at the airport but he did not get a chance to chat with her until we were off to the Golden Gate Bridge. The Irish always have a lot to talk about!

San Francisco Sea Lions

The sea lions are back at pier 39 in San Francisco harbour. Vincent had a good chance to see them and to experience the aroma.

Skyline

The fog burnt off at about 10 am and the sun came out over San Francisco providing glorious views of the skyline and Alcatraz.

A Hug from Aunt Mary

Vincent gets a hug from Aunt Mary just before packing up and heading off to the airport for the return trip to Toronto.

Monday: At the Boardwalk

On Monday morning we went for a walk along the boardwalk before heading back to the beach and to the condo to pack for our evening flight.
