On Saturday, Vincent, Uncle Bob, and Dad went hunting for a pumpkin for halloween. Vincent searched the entire pumpkin patch looking for just the right one. We are still not sure if he found one.
The second species of kinglet the Regulus calendula passed through the beach this week on it's way south. This is most likely a female. These are very small and fast as they flicker from branch to branch.

The sumac tree turns a brilliant red in autumn. This autumn their colour has been particularily striking as can be seen during our trip to the Scarbourgh bluffs.
Mom joined Vincent and I on Saturday for a couple of hours at the bluffs. Once again the weather was warm and the fall colours were spectacular. Vincent enjoys walking along the trail and beach and playing with anything he can find.
