First Trip to the Wading Pool

Vincent and Dad were shopping so Dad decided to take Vincent to the wading pool on the way back. Vincent was not sure what to make of it when Dad plunked him in the water.

Parking Wars

A neighbour flagged down a green onion who responded "Parking Authority at your service." Anyway a real estate agent parked her car in front of the neighbours driveway so the authority called in the heavy weights to remove it. She had it jammed against the curb so it took a few jacks to move it so it could be towed. It also took about six trys to place the jack so it would hold the weight of the car. Here you see the results if you don't heed where you park. Also included is a peek at tow truck fashion these days.

Another Heat Wave

It was 33C at the lake September 1 so a few took advantage and headed to the beach.

The Natural Look

Vincent sees the lakeshore lined with sand and waters edge lined with small rocks. Naturally he believes the pool would look better as well if the bottom was filled with rocks. He took it upon himself to change the look by putting small rocks in the pool. Next step will be to cover the concrete pool area with mulch. Someone has to do the math to see how many bags it will take.

What goes on in Uncle Bob's Man Cave has been a well guarded secret until now. On this day a beef brisket found it's way from the BBQ to the smoker where it was engulfed for hours in the smoke from smouldering hickory. The man cave has given up one of it's many secrets.
