Pool Time for the Ladies

A Heavy Pamper

Vincent decided to play in the pool without changing into his bathing suit. The heavy load (of water) he had to carry around sure slowed him down.

Not Too Cold for Vincent

The waters of Lake Ontario are not too cold for Vincent. Since we came back from the cottage he likes to play in the water at the beach.

Dog Days of Summer

The dog days of summer are here. Normally we get a breeze but on this 32C day not a breath of a breeze was felt at the beach. So far this summer we have had 18 days 29C and above with the coldest day of the summer being 24C. All we can do here is enjoy a climate more like the south of France.

Vincent is 18 Months Old

Vincent turned 18 months old and Auntie Karen took his picture with Mom and Dad.

Cottage Wildflowers

Luisa took these pictures of wildflowers at the cottage. We are not sure what they are so I guess a guidebook would be good for Christmas.

Happy Baby

Vincent was a happy baby at the cottage as he recieved so much attention from everyone. Thank you to all for making Vincent's time so much fun.

Friday at the Cottage

Judy and Bill joined the gang at the cottage. After fishing Vincent and Lusia sat down for tea on the beach. A great dinner was enjoyed by all before the drive home.

Cottage Hummingbirds

The feeder at the cottage attracted some Archilochus colubris (ruby-throated hummingbirds). I got a couple of lucky pictures of the speedy little devils

Vincent enjoyed runing up the hill and playing with his Auntie at the cottage.

Luisa's Big Fish

Luisa and Bill went fishing on Friday and Luisa landed a 4lb bass. It put up a good fight and Luisa was really excited to catch it. Vincent says that when Uncle Mike sees a fish like this he may want to put down the golf clubs and take up fishing again.
